Let's get moving - in schools, workplaces, neighborhoods, parks - everywhere! Join other individuals and organizations who are a part of the active living movement, and learn how to make physical activity a priority in your community.

Join us for the 2020 Movement Makers Active Living Summit on Wednesday, February 26, 2020, at the Virginia Museum of History and Culture. Stay tuned for more information on registration and this year’s agenda!

The 2019 summit included keynote addresses from Pamela Northam, First Lady of Virginia, as well as business leaders and record-breaking endurance athletes Will Turner and Courtney Paulk, as well as breakout sessions on best practices for active living in schools, workplaces, and early childhood education providers

The Active RVA Awards recognize organizations around Richmond for creating active living opportunities on a daily basis. Join us as we celebrate these leaders on February 26, and apply to have your school, company, or early childhood education provider certified to join the Active RVA initiative! Movement Makers is designed for leaders in the active living movement who want to change people’s health outcomes. Together, we can build stronger and longer lasting change.

Nominations are open for the Infrastructure and Changemaker Awards that are presented at the Active RVA Awards presented by Cigna. Know of a worthy candidate? Fill out the Infrastructure nomination form or Changemaker nomination form to let us know!
