Submit a Proposal
Want to be a part of movement makers?
Submit a proposal to be active at the Summit, and speak on how you are getting your community moving! We are looking for proposals that emphasize how to encourage physical activity for all populations through evidence-based programs, policies, and partnerships. Special consideration will be given to proposals that address equity, creating collaborative impact, and your experiences getting people moving.
Instructions for Submission
Two types of presentations will be considered:
Panel Session with Moderator
These submissions will be breakout/how-to sessions lasting 60 minutes. Sessions submitted must include panel speakers (no more than 4) and moderator. The session should allow for a minimum of 15 minutes for question/answer or some other interactive component.
These submissions will be presentations of up to 20 minutes. Submissions will be combined with other proposals on a related topic and delivered in a moderated session by a moderator identified by the programming committee.
When you submit your proposal, you’ll be asked to provide the following:
1) A description of the session including topic, format, and what it hopes to achieve
2) Two learning objectives this proposal aims to achieve
3) Your name, title, employer, and 100 word bio
Submit your proposal by March 24 at 9pm Eastern, 6pm Pacific. Applicants will be informed April 7, 2017 on the status of their submission.
